Reliable SPC Day Selection

  • Corrected the Severe Outlook map so changing to Day 2 or Day 3 replaces the previous SPC outlook cleanly.

Improved Weather Map Controls

  • Organized the Weather Map controls into clear Map View, Weather Layers, and Options groups.
  • Replaced the layer checkboxes with readable toggle buttons and kept only the options that apply to the selected map view or layers visible.

Easier-to-Read Quick Map Titles

  • Made the Quick Weather Map titles larger and darker to match the clear MCARC SKYWARN status lettering.

Clearer NWS Radar Link

  • Renamed the Weather Map button to NWS Radar while keeping its link to the official National Weather Service radar page.

Improved Quick Weather Maps

  • Quick Weather Maps now use compact regional NOAA-rendered images so lightning, precipitation, wind, and storm reports display more reliably.
  • The main map now preserves the official NWS wind-barb and Local Storm Report symbols while keeping each location selectable for details.

Clearer Weather Map Markers

  • Storm Report locations now use solid red markers so recent reports are easier to spot on the Weather Map.
  • Current Wind observation locations now use solid blue markers for the same visibility.
