Quick Weather Maps

  • Added four compact official NOAA and NWS weather-map previews for lightning, recent precipitation, current wind observations, and Local Storm Reports.
  • Selecting a preview turns on that information in the main Weather Map without leaving the page.

Full-Strength Radar by Default

  • Renamed the radar opacity control to Opacity, aligned it with the map layer choices, and changed the default radar display to full strength.

Clearer Radar Controls

  • Shortened the map layer names so the radar controls fit more comfortably on one line, and renamed the official radar link to Animated Radar.

Severe Outlook Map

  • Added an official Storm Prediction Center Severe Outlook map alongside the existing live NOAA radar.
  • Members can view Day 1 through Day 3 outlooks, with tornado, wind, and hail probabilities when SPC publishes them.

Simpler National Alert List

  • National alert details now stay hidden until a member selects a category, while counts and update time remain visible.
  • A clear notice still appears whenever a Tornado Warning is active anywhere in the United States.

Easier-to-Read National Alert Filters

  • Made the national watches and warnings filter buttons much larger and clearer to read and tap.
