Weather Allowance Protection
- Reduced automatic radar updates from every minute to every five minutes and kept background-tab requests paused.
- Weather maps and conditions are now shared for five minutes so repeated visits by multiple members do not make duplicate provider requests.
- Reduced provider map size and removed a redundant label layer while retaining radar, satellite, highways, county lines, alert boundaries, and the Hub's local labels.
- Radar animation remains available only when a member selects Play, and repeated frames or map locations can now be served from the Hub's short-term cache.
- The Weather page now preserves its last successful conditions and forecast instead of overwriting them with blank data when Xweather reaches a limit or has an outage.
Safer Weather Map Zooming
- The weather map now verifies each new zoom level before displaying it. If Xweather cannot provide that level, the map remains at the last working view and disables further zooming in that direction instead of showing an unavailable screen.
Full-Width Weather Map
- Expanded the live weather map to the full available width beside the navigation, removing the unused padding on both sides while retaining comfortable spacing around its controls and the forecasts below it.
- Corrected the map image scaling so it fills the wider frame instead of creating empty bands on the left and right; county and place overlays remain aligned while dragging or using full screen.
Detailed Weather Alerts
- Members can now select an active National Weather Service watch or warning to open a detailed popup with its timing, affected area, severity, urgency, instructions, and available wind, hail, storm, or flood information.
Propagation Page Attribution
- Simplified the attribution at the bottom of Current Propagation to identify the MCARC application's calculations.
