License Testing

Easier VE Team Setup

  • Site Administrators can add club members to the Volunteer Examiner directory from the Testing Team list and save access changes for everyone with one button. VE credentials and session assignments are still reviewed separately.

License Testing

Exam Session Change Notices Match Your Registration

  • The registration management page now asks you to review session changes only when the date, time, or location changed after you registered or transferred into that session.

License Testing

Simpler Exam Registration Questions

  • The optional questions field on the exam registration form now uses a shorter label.

Weekly Nets

A Clearer Weekly Net Start

  • Opening script and announcements start folded away while you review a net before starting. Open them anytime; they appear automatically once the net is in progress.

Members

Hub Menu Stays in Place

  • The left Hub menu now stays in place while you scroll the page. Links remain one per line and fit in regular desktop windows. Shorter windows can scroll within the menu to reach every link.

Members

Hub Menu Returns to One Link per Line

  • The Hub’s left menu again shows one link per line in both sidebar styles. On shorter desktop screens, use the page’s regular scrolling to reach lower links; the menu no longer has its own scroll bar.

Members

A Fresh Club Feed Look and a Menu That Fits

  • Club Feed now has a photo-led Community look with clearer discussion cards and a simpler posting area. Site Admins can switch between Community and the original Classic look in Club Feed Administration.
  • The Hub’s left menu has readable compact labels and fits shorter desktop screens without its own scroll bar. Very short windows can use the page’s regular scrolling instead.

Members

Club Feed Panel Can Be Hidden from the Overview

  • The Club Feed panel is hidden from the member overview for now. Members can still open Club Feed from the Hub menu.
  • Site Admins can show or hide the overview panel from Site Layout.

Members

Private Club Feed and Sidebar Choices

  • Current paid members can use the private Club Feed to ask questions, share on-air activity, plan outings, run polls, follow conversations, save posts, and choose notification preferences.
  • Feed photos stay private unless the member gives public-sharing permission and an administrator approves the photo for the public gallery. Members can withdraw that permission later.
  • Administrators can manage Club Feed access, discussion moderators, reports, exports, and photo approvals. Site Layout now offers the familiar Original sidebar and an optional Modern Icons style; Original remains selected until an administrator changes it, administrators can preview either choice before applying it, and both choices fit shorter desktop screens without a separate menu scroll bar.

Members

Photos and Merchandise Stay Inside the Hub

  • Opening the Photo Gallery or Merchandise from the Member Hub now keeps the Hub navigation and member controls visible.
  • Photo albums, merchandise details, carts, shop accounts, orders, Shop Administration, and assigned deliveries stay in the Hub while members browse and work.
  • The public Photo Gallery and Merchandise pages remain available for visitors, and both versions continue using the same photos, products, orders, and settings.

Members

Local Repeaters & Nets Stay Inside the Hub

  • Opening Local Repeaters & Nets from the Member Hub now keeps the Hub navigation and member controls visible.
  • The public repeater information remains available to everyone, while members see the same information and calendar links inside the Hub.
  • Both versions use the same repeater and net content, so there is no separate copy to keep updated.

Members

Hub Menu Fits Shorter Screens

  • On shorter desktop screens, Marketplace and Merchandise share a row so the new Local Repeaters & Nets link remains visible without scrolling.

Weekly Nets

Weekly Net Scripts Are Easier to Follow

  • Shoals and Loogootee scripts now group spoken lines for easier reading and set net-control directions apart. Announcements appear where the script calls for them, with the same wording frozen for both repeaters when the first net starts.
  • The Start form begins with the signed-in operator's name and callsign. Confirm or change them for the person actually running each repeater.

Weekly Nets

Net Scripts Name the Actual Operator

  • When a Weekly Net starts, its script fills in the name and callsign entered for the person actually running it, including a substitute. The operator name is now required before starting.

Weekly Nets

Easier to Read Weekly Net Scripts

  • Opening scripts and announcements now expand to show all their text, with larger type for reading during a net.

Members

Clearer Net Navigation

  • The club’s Weekly Nets area is now labeled MCARC Weekly Nets. A Local Repeaters & Nets link sits beside it in the Hub menu, before HF Nets.

Members

Problem Reports Show the Right Page

  • When you choose Report a Problem, the affected page now starts with the page you were viewing. You can change it before sending your report.

Weekly Nets

Easier Weekly Net Announcement Review

  • Net Administrators can scan pending announcements without editing fields filling each card. Editing and rejection details open when needed, and member revisions show the approved and proposed wording side by side.

Administration

Clearer Board Member and Inbox Updates

  • Active Board Members appear together at the top of the designation page, with a clear status label beside each name.
  • When someone replies, adds a private Board note, or changes an inquiry's assignment or status, the other active Board Members receive an email with a link to the shared inbox. Private note text stays out of the email.

Weekly Nets

More Room for Weekly Net Roll Call

  • The separate Add note control has been removed from each station's attendance row, leaving more room for the Attendance Details menu. Previously saved notes remain available in net records.

Weekly Nets

Simpler Weekly Net Attendance Entry

  • Net control operators now record each station with one Attendance Details menu instead of separate Called, Checked In, and detail controls.
  • Not Called Yet keeps the operator's place in the roll call, while No Contact and the regular, short-time, mobile, late, and no-comment choices save the complete result in one step.

Website

Contact the MCARC Board

  • Visitors can contact the whole Board or a specific active Board Member without creating an account.
  • Board inquiries are tracked in a shared inbox so responsibility, replies, and status stay clear. People who contact the Board receive a private link for securely following the conversation.

Merchandise

Shop Administration Access

  • Site Admins can open Shop Administration from the Administration page. Delegated Shop Administrators can open it from the Hub menu.
  • The shared sign-in page accepts both member and shop accounts.

Merchandise

MCARC Merchandise Shop

  • Browse club merchandise and save items in a cart. Customer accounts and guest checkout are available for future orders.
  • Shop Administrators can prepare products, options, preorder campaigns, shipping, fulfillment, and order management. Online payment will open after the club completes its required setup.
