How are HF Nets listings compiled, and are they local to Indiana?
The directory finds Indiana stations in NetLogger HF rosters; the nets themselves may be based elsewhere.
The HF Nets directory started with club-reviewed NetLogger records and keeps their dated evidence. When an administrator requests a refresh, the site checks NetLogger's closed HF net rosters from the previous 14 days. A net can be listed when its roster includes a station whose State is IN (Indiana). The site links to source rosters and shows the latest Indiana roster activity; the longer explanation of refresh and archiving rules is in How is the HF Nets page generated?
These are Indiana-relevant results, not a list of nets physically based in Indiana or specifically in Martin County. An Indiana roster entry could be from anywhere in the state. It means the station appeared in that net's check-in list; it does not confirm an on-air contact, local reception, or that your station can reach the net. Frequencies, modes, and dated operating times come from historical records and should be verified before you transmit.
