How do I use the Feedline Loss Calculator?
Choose a cable and enter your station details to estimate coax loss and antenna power.
Open the Feedline Loss Calculator. Choose Cable, then enter Frequency in MHz, Feedline length in feet, Power entering line in watts, and Antenna gain in dBd. Choose the load information you have; Matched load is the simplest starting point. Review the calculated loss and power estimates.
Coax loss is expressed in dB. Results are estimates based on the selected cable data and inputs; real connectors, installation, and cable condition can change actual performance.
